I didnt get done as much as I wanted to today. I tinkered around with a few things while my buddy was working on a van. Got the shocks installed and the Rubicon Express track bar bracket. Mounted the 35's on the back. Its starting to come together still need a lot of work though. Rubicon Express Shocks Track Bar Bracket Plenty of room in the back. -

Also you should use your low so that you don't screw over your transmission. -
dang that is clean. What kind of roll in bed liner did you use?

I contact Rockyour4x4.com They always have excellent service and are friendly. Typically you have to email them about what you need cause there website is still under construction but other than that great website!

haha if i take my bed off, i'll take a video of me doing stoppies :)
-
Not trying to jack the thread or anything but what do you mean by the front would be too heavy? As in it would do a stoppie? lol Just curious

Thats kinda what I'm shooting for. lol but I looked up the Fox Coilover shocks today and they are like 850 dollars a piece!!! so i don't know if i will get that fancy lol

Next Question. What is the difference in the beds of a comanche and that of a Toyota truck? I saw the pictures of the Ultimate Adventures Taco and I really like the way they built the bed on it. Would something like this be possible on a comanche Thanks for your time.

For some reason it is saying it cannot find the website. ? Server must have been down earlier cause its working now.
-
Ok Next question. Has anyone dove tailed the rear of a Comanche?
-
I'm sure someone has done a page on this but after going through about 10+ pages of the tech I had not seen one so I decided to ask. Has anyone shortened the bed length on a short bed Comanche? If so how far forward did you go? Is there a problem with the Shackles and where they mount if shortened ? Thanks for your time.

Well I'm not 100 percent positive on my theory but if you bought a multiple channel amp you can bridge it and achieve a 2 ohm setting. So yes I believe what lostissues said is correct.

The 1600 ones i found is for Tj D44s and it comes with 4.10s and selectable locker. I don't believe it comes with any type of shafts.

It says on that site that the RMS is 1400 watts but I think if you run about 1000 watts to both of them would push enough to rattle all the windows lol I used to have 2 12" pioneer subs and 300 watts in the back of my cherokee. Half way up on the stereo dial would about deafen me.

I welded on the Rusty's D30 truss just for kicks. I think it looks pretty cool. Front view with the Rubicon Express 5.5" coils Thats going to be ride height with 33's Thats ride height with 5.5" coils and the equivalent of a 3/4 coil spacer. -
I will be investing in a D44 axle soon. I weighed the options of building or buying. I'm going with buying. Somehow my price was 1600 but maybe that was the extra in shipping or something.

Hate to be nosey but what did you give for these? I'm looking for a set of 17" wheels, and are the beads functional or for looks?
-
I don't know if this might be it or not but i had related symptoms with my Comanche and when I crawled under it turns out i had a huge dent in the drive shaft. As the drive shaft would spin faster and it would cause a bad vibration. Just my opinion.

Are those the Walker Evan Racing Beadlocks?

oh ok. I heard from another person that took his doors off and flexed his body out. Afterwards the doors would not fit back into the frame. Is that Just bad luck?
