no TJ  after the bank told me that I would most likely be approved for a 10k loan when I was denied a 24k loan I was like "ok, lets see what I can find" found the TJ and now they won't approve me for the 10k and my credit score is down 20 points from the f'n dealerships doing checks :fs1: my mind is set though, I will be getting a wrangler that is tj or older.

sure, lets see that graphic. the problem with my cb is that it is a cobra 29 ltd classic, one of those full size jobs. I have been thinking of bolting it to the backside of the center counsel, but that won't work if I go to a bench seat. -
it's actually for sale for 8.7k, but ya it is crazy. it is the straig 6 with 5 speed manual, no clue what t-case or trans model it has. 141,xxx miles but it does have brand new wheel cylinder, brakes, and 31" tires.

DAMMIT!!!!!! I have only owned my comanche for a short period of time and I havent driven it it about a month. I tried getting a brand new vw beetle turbo last week but I couldnt find a co-signer so I decided to just get a car in the 10k range to build my credit back up. what have ya, but I'm looking at an 01 wrangler sport. I can already see where this is headed.

nice build. you are pretty good at metal work. I am in the custom metal fab industry so I have all of these materials at work....... whene you had the topper on, where did you mount your cb antenna and the cb itself. I have a location picked out in the truck but am up for new ideas. the roll bar is pretty nice also, gave me some ideas on building my own. -
is the roll bar or light bar (whatever you decide to call it) a bought item or do most of you folks that run 'em just make them yourself? I have always been a fan of those of 80's trucks. if anyone has made their own if ya wouldnt mind posting the specs up here, that way myself and anyone else can make their own also.

"we don't want to talk about HIM" sorry, reminded me of cannonball run.

the dart is pretty quick. I actually decided on the 2012 vw beetle turbo though, 200 hp and I think 180 torque, thing is f'n fast. payments would be 341 monthly with 0$ interest on a 72 month term and my insurance would only go up $20. thats without trading the mj.

 here's to keping the comanche AND getting a brand new car. this means I can soly focus on building/restoring the mj. first up, rust repair.

so I have only had my comanche for about a month, it is my only means of transportation right now and is down with a broke slave cylinder for the clutch. I have the unique oppertunity to get a brand new dodge dart 1.4l multiair turbo with that vibrant orange that all you jeep lovers love and is spec'd in a very unique way...especially for it's price. only thing is I need 1k down on it and I dotn have that cash right now and no one from my family can afford to lend it to me. I don't want to see the comanche go away so soon.

. ok.....who's the joker who put wheels on the dumpster Walker, In honor of the off road legend himself and the fame he gave the Comanche in the late 80s-early 90s . thats one B/A lookin' jeep there friend.

mine is named Jenifer. Yes that is spelled right and no it is not Jenny, or any other shortend term for Jenifer....now that I think about it I need to paint my truck red because I named it after the hottest redhead I ever k.new

is POR 15 a rust inhibitor?

so I'm thinking of ditching the topper after this winter, deffinetly going to linex the bed also. anybody know where I can get one of those roll bars for the bed, or is that something people make themselves?
-
it has an ax-4. 4 cylinder. ya, I'm used to other forums where your build thread is also a great place to ask tech questions that you need answered.

for the first time in my 6 year career in the guard, I was not thanked one time yesterday. thank you and thank you to all the other vets on this website
-
well I found the slave cylinder/throw out bearing assembly for way cheaper than $220, thanks partsgeek.
-
nobody has any input as the weather or not that is the correct slave cylinder?
-
hey automan, totally off topic. but I just realized you live down in harvard, IL. I have a friend from the vw community that lives there also, he drives a red new beetle with chicago blackhawks (or whatever the hockey team is) plates and some blackhawks hates in the rear window. I'm sure you havent seen it around as the city is decently sized. I just thought I'd share that bit o' info with ya, and heck, maybe I'll see ya when I am down there sometime.

looks nice, I really like the paint job.
-
not so much a good thing, just a good thing it happened when the truck decided to break
-
I am still doing the ax-5 swap as soon as possible, but seeing as I need my truck up and running NOW (good thing I was laid off this week) is this the correct slave cylinder? it seems to cheap compared to the $220 oreillys wants. http://www.jcwhitney.com/centric-clutch-slave-cylinderoe-replacement/p3039333.jcwx?filterid=c3651d1169y1991g2j4

what are the CAD lines that everyone seems to remove? what muffler did you have installed, just a no name replacement or something like a magnaflow? -
I checked out your website earlier, I think I may order one of those from you for my 91/30.
