  1. I think you get them thru the dealer. Originally posted by TAZ: The Patch Kit (part #4443965) shows to be used through 1990. There are still plenty available with a retail price at $65 - $70 depending on dealership used. I would contact TAZ if you want one. here's the TSB with how to instructions: http://www.greatlakesxj.com/tech/cps.pdf Not trying to hijack this thread, but the TSB is for 4.0L trucks. Is there the same problem with the 2.5? Good question. I'm not sure.
  2. Are any of you guys removing your bedliner to have the spray on put in? is the spray on better than a bed liner? anybody use both?

  4. here's an idea for the fan: http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=9161
  5. The torque specs you have are correct EXCEPT bolt #11 only gets torqued to 100 ft/lbs on the final round. The FSM also says to use loc tite 592 or equivalent on the bolt stud for #11.
  6. Yeah, Those types of events don't seem as fun since I stopped doing acid and shrooms.
  7. ILL check my FSM in the morning and double check the torque for you.
  8. Do those rails fit on long beds? i don't know if the distance between between the wheel wells is different on shorties and longies... BTW those rails are sweet! FINALLY someone got smart and made MJ rails. i can't wait to get a set of my own! The link says they only work on short beds. But it says they are made when ordered so maybe they can modify them. I remember a while back motion was looking for a long bed to do some measurements with.
  9. They are different. The one on renix the flange faces down and the HO ones turn a little. I thought they didnt fit on renix? Do you just have to use the down pipe from the HO too?
  10. Look at your lower control arm on the drivers side. See if it is scrathed up or shiny like the tire is rubbing on it. My drivers side front tire only rubs on mine sometimes. Like 1 out of every 10 times that I take a tight turn. I am swapping in new ball joints (there is alot of movement in mine) and u-joints while I'm at it.
  11. Does it idle rough when it first starts or after it warms up, or both?
  12. Besides the freeze plugs on the driver side there are 2 more on the back of the engine above where the tranny mounts to it. There is a good pic of them and a write up here: http://gojeep.willyshotrod.com/HowtoWelshPlugs1.htm
  13. I'm trying to figure out where it is leaking from and I think it is the pump. The hoses are fine and it is wet behind the pulley but only below the shaft the pulley mounts onto. Also, What is the length for the return line. Is 24" the right one.
  14. My 89 Pioneer has/had Hockey Sticks, 3 Spoke Steering Wheel and had Idiot Light Dash until I swapped it out... but I guess I don't have Accent colored flares (just white), so maybe the combo of those things is what you are talking about Eagle... /just sayin' SW2 Mine too. Idiot lights, 3 spoke wheel, and hockey sticks. But red flares on a red truck; also a pioneer 89. It does look to be painted tho. The pioneer decal is gone and the paint isnt brighter where it was like it usually is.

  16. The body looks nice, but with over 250K I wouldnt pay that much for it. I agree with taz on the price if the body is rust free.
  17. They also control the heater. I'm pretty sure if it isnt working your heat will only blow out the defrost vents. But there is usually only one
  18. Very good info. Of all the SYE threads I've read I have never heard this before. So you would want to use a drive shaft that has the compression thing(like a shock) in the driveshaft itself rather than a slip yoke?
  19. You don't put anything on the head gasket
  20. Its only like 7 screws to put it in. It will be faster just put it in than try and put power to it.
  21. Wahoo, In the DRAFT you have to take the amount of each type of player it shows (2QB', 2RB's, 3WR's etc). After the draft you can drop a tight end and pick up a running back or whatever you want from free agency. I already dropped a TE and picked up another RB from free agency. Wade, Somehow that doesnt surprise me. You definately seem type A.
  22. You actually have a pretty good team Pete. Keep your eyes open the first few weeks and pick up a couple free agents for some of the dead weight and you could do very good.
  23. THE DRAFT IS DONE. There is a message board on our club site to post on. I put up a little info on free agents. Check the message board regularly.
  24. You will probally need to put one in. All MJ's with a/c came with the elec fan
  25. http://westernmass.craigslist.org/pts/788511752.html For 89. Has 3 of the 4. Missing the electrical. These are not mine.I Just know people are always looking for them. Especially this cheap.
