Really can never predict the direction a post will take. -
I found a gas tank with sending unit intact - pulled from a wrecked '88. Any quick way to check it before I buy it? Yes, I can use a multi-meter.

You Could Tell She Was Special At First Glance.

1987 AMC Pacer. Spotted in a small JY under a pole shed in Loganville, Georgia. 70K original miles When asked if for sale, owner said, "uh, yeah, bout $7500, I guess". He got her from the orig owner and has just had her sitting there for three years. Drives her about once every six months. He has no money, so I'm sure he has no long term plans. (looking for a JY investor) Car is in good shape and can probably be had for a good price. He does have a Comanche - we pulled a rear slider from it - will post more on this separately. -
You could tell she was special at first glance. So special that she had been concealed from others for quite some time. Held at a remote site, she was told it was “for her own protection.” A little old for some, with curves simply too bold for others, this blonde beauty knew that even a man most dedicated to his own love was compelled to stare as she passed by. Well aware of her lowly roots and modest heritage, she knew what she had become and was pleased for having maintained herself over the years. Unlike others, time had been kind to her and she was more than content with her appearance. She’d never had any desire for cosmetic enhancements in a superficial attempt to be labeled a ‘cougar’. But now she longed for something different, a new start. She wanted to travel and meet others like herself. She ached for her freedom and you knew it the moment you saw her. If she were shown only a little attention from the right man, it was evident she would reward him in ways only he would understand. So, there she sat…watching...waiting…longing for her rescuer to appear fulfilling his quest for a trophy companion and her dream of freedom.

Bench Seat Head Rests ,....
Butchershop replied to JENSSEN's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Ebay has head rests for Comanche. I checked my bench and there are no holes for them. But, I'm sure you master fabricators can make them work. :wrench: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Jeep-Cherokee-Comanche-XJ-MJ-Bucket-or-Bench-Seat-Gray-Head-Rest-Set-84-92-/200748877752?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3AComanche&hash=item2ebd90c7b8&vxp=mtr -
Bench Seat Head Rests ,....

Anybody ever seen one of these used? A bit pricey. http://www.andysautosport.com/jeep/1984_1992_comanche/interior/seats/truck_seats/prp/ -
I picked up some OEM XJ fog lights and need an interior switch and relay. I prefer a separate switch rather than hot with low beams. Assume it's best to put the relay close to the lights (under the hood) and let the trigger wire be the long run. Advice is welcomed too.

Some seat covers include built-in headrests. Didn't do the Googling, but you should be able to find something on the 'Interweb'. (Eastwood in "Trouble with the Curve") -
How about a roll call from you northeasterners. Everybody ok?

Yes, I'll gladly pay shipping if you'll pull them. Won't be heading your way anytime soon. I'll take the window rollers, arm rests too. And the latch plate. Many thanks. No hurry. Let me know when you're ready for some money. You can PM me for details.

Sure would like those blue door panels. PO cut holes for speakers in mine. And blue visor clips.

I just checked the local Jeep dealer and got part no. 55235391AR for the one piece seal. Can anyone confirm this is the right part no? $115 at dealership $87.20 here: http://www.factorychryslerparts.com/products/EAGLE/MOLDING-Windshield--MOULDING--Windshield--MOULDING--Windshield--Lower--MOULDING--Windshield--Side--MOULDING--Windshield--Upper-1-Piece--Use-After-2-7-/4524678/55235391AB.html Looks right to me. But confirmation would be great.
