  1. Hey, I picked up a set of factory turbine 15x7 10-spoke wheels recently and I want to get the BFG All-Terrain T/A KO2 31x10.50R15/C 109S tires for them. I have 4.5" of lift. Will I need spacers? I don't want them to rub on the fenders or stock LCA's.
  2. Beautiful part of the country. Thanks for sharing.
  3. Thanks jdog... I found a local radiator shop that will flush it out, repair the pinhole, test it, and respray it black. That's what I'm going to do!
  4. I've got a '90 MJ with only 30k original miles but there is a new pinhole leak in the radiator. It's the original brass radiator, so should I get it repaired at the local radiator repair shop or get a new non brass one? It's still a closed system and I want to keep it that way. It did have some episodes of slight overheating this summer under only the most extreme conditions. I flushed it and the old coolant was fairly clean. I'm afraid that the inside of the radiator might be corroded up. Can a shop do a more thorough flush (to get the crud out) with the radiator outside the vehicle?
  5. I got a set from a member here on forum. Thanks
  6. I just read through your over the top build, so I'll take your advice. Thanks
  7. SalvagedCircuit, how long have you had this one in your truck?
  8. Ghetdjc320, should I be concerned that this fan is already 20 years old?
  9. I've got the factory electric fan in my '90 MJ with the 4.0 and air conditioning. I want to upgrade to the 10-blade '97 XJ style. RockAuto has Murray FA70117 for $48.79 and Crown has the 52028337AC for $122. They both look the same, but what a price difference. Any thoughts on which one I should buy? Thanks
  10. Someone must have a few of these collecting dust in a box. I'd rather give my money to another forum member than to eBay.
  11. Looking for a good set of center caps for the Turbine wheels. Thanks
  12. Yeah, the track bar is from Rusty's too. Not sure about the steering. No drop brackets.
  13. I have a '90 MJ long bed with the Big Ton package and before I bought it last May one of it's previous owners put a 4.5" Rusty's lift on it. Well, she drives like crap and instead of pouring resources into trying to "fix" it, I'm thinking that I should just return to the stock suspension. Would it be as simple as replacing the control arms, shocks, and coils? Would Rock Auto be the place to get good quality stock parts? Thanks
  14. Right, he's probably planning the trip now!
  15. Yeah, it's at B&W Salvage in Metter GA.
  16. Thanks for all the responses. It's located at an out of state JY, so I can't put eyes on it. I can ask if they can send me a picture of how it attaches.
  17. Found one at a junk yard via carpart.com. They emailed me back that they are not sure if it is an OEM part and has surface rust. I know it's not much go on, but this should just bolt right up to my MJ? They are asking $75.
  18. Shims in the pocket-sounds like a band name to me. Thanks for your help Pete. I think I'll order them and report back.
  19. Hey Pete, got a picture of the lower control arm from the left side. It's from a Rusty's 4.5" lift kit and it measures 16" from bolt to bolt. Is that enough info to tell if the the RRO drop kits will work with these non-factory control arms?
  20. Crusier, the NAPA link brings me to the model RNR NR78A? Is there a difference?
  21. Does this radiator have the bung to plug in the electric fan connection?
  22. Pete, wouldn't the Rusty's control arms be the same length? How else would they fit without moving the front axle?
  23. Oh, and this radiator looks like it has the fitting for a radiator cap??? I want one to replace the factory one without the cap. i want to keep the system closed. Am I seeing things?
  24. Thanks, did you have to do any cutting/modifications to get this radiator to fit?
  25. Can't find that part number on the NAPA website-perhaps it's discontinued? Their website lists RNR NR78A as a direct fit for the MJ. I can't tell from the pictures if it has a spot for the temperature wire connection.
