Finally got my jeep back on the road again. 2 new wheel bearings. 2 new front axle u-joints 1 new brake line on LF 1 new caliper on LF All new brake lines running to the rear And took out the height sensing load thingy in the back. Also adjusted Master cylinder I bet my mj has better braking power now than when it came out of the factory :D

You must have arrived after the winter of '89/'90. The all time record low for KC of -23 was set that year. Three nights in a row it got down to -20 or below. They cancelled school for those days. I think we went well over a week before temperatures even made it to 0. Willy yep, your right. born in 91. i know I'm a young pup :D It didn't get cold here. my definition of cold is, if you can't walk outside in a t-shirt and shorts and be comfortable, then it's to cold. :rotf:

Been in MO all my life. But for our area we have not seen this much snow in one winter for 20+ years (i talked with people who have lived here for over 60 years) Also i have never experienced such cold temp's before either. People like Correy thinks it's normal and are ok with it, me on the other hand, :ack:

WHAT? We got like... maaaaaaaybe an inch. So not fair. Gimmie. How much did you end up getting? This morning we had here in Clinton 8-9 inches. with 3' drifts every were (that north wind was brutal) by this late afternoon all the snow on the roads were gone and everything else was down to 2-3inches. Bring on the warm weather!!

I would assume that with the AW-4 it would have 3.55 gearing, but with it being a MT and a D44 what gears does it have?? Nice score

:needpics: It will help us if we could see some pics :D

It's crazy. (for march anyway) we got at least 6" right now, with some good 2-3' drifts every were. I hope it gets up to the temp they are saying for tuesday. :shake:

Last week find out that both wheel bearings and U-joints on front axle on my mj are out, get them fixed, same day my brakes go out on the mj. And I still have a bad solenoid in the tranny. So ive been driving my dads car in order to go to college. Anyway I get in it this morning to go down and visit Correy (Geonovast) and it bend's a push rod, or the rocker arm exploded, either way, it ticks like hell and only runs on 5 cylinders now! :fs1: :headpop:

Hmmm..ok well thanks, wish i could have found the jeep with it :brows: :rotf: That was the AMC logo, or American Motors Company. Live by that logo, they were the ones who created the Comanche while they owned jeep. People with '80's MJ's usually still have the logo all over the truck, keys, and seat belts. Rob L. ya that symbol, I couldn't remember if it was jeep's or AMC's logo, oh well

I was helping the neighbor clean out some old junk trailer house 's the other day on some newly acquired property and found a Vehicle ID card from a Jeep dealership. It has owner's name (who is now dead) Vin number- J5F16MA054013 Dealer Number- 29 4051 and, Deliver date or date of first use- 05-24-75 ( so i assume vehicle is from 70's) On the card it has a picture of a Jeep Renegade and the Jeep's old logo with the triangle and rectangle so if any could give me some info on what kind of vehicle this was??? Thanks.
