  1. There's a ball under the passenger side front bumper. It controls some vaccum for the heater controls I think. Make sure that's still there and the two vaccum lines are still connected.
  2. Thank you sir
  3. Can anybody tell me the factory spec for oil in an 88 4.0?

  5. Hey hornbrod, would that part # be the same for an 88 4.0 full gauge for the temp sender?
  6. Quadratech has a light bar that mounts to your rain gutters. I don't tink any drilling is required.
  7. Hey, if I plan on getting Helcreeks rear springs, and RE's 3.5 coils with I'd say probably 31 or 32" x 9.5 or 10.5 tires, would it be a good idea to get a set of WJ LCA's to prevent rubbing at full lock? Would they be good to use with this lift? And what should I get for UCA's? Thanks :D
  8. Well Eagle , I can't help you with video games but if you ever need anything translated, just pm me or type it here . I'm fluent in spanish if you need help. (Parents are from Argentina, Grandparents are Italian.) Or just have her type it and I'll get back to you guys.
  9. The ground for the rear lights I think is behind the driver's side tailight, and there might be one behind the same side wheel well. I don't think that many people on this board have original interior lights. However there are some posts up recently about what replacements you can get.
  10. That's great! Thanks BLHTAZ.
  11. Hey, so when you order the injectors, do they come with o-rings and all items needed for the change or do you have to pick up any other parts?
  12. Nappa has it cheaper. The whole system coming out of the valve cover and all the vaccum tubes together run $50 . Part # 715-1367, 715-1366, 715-1365.
  13. Call in or go see the guys at Geek Squad at Best Buy. They'll tell you exactly what you need. Then check tigerdirect.com for the tower. They usually have a good price.
  14. You guys are lucky. I just keep hiting damn skunks.
  15. Tigerdirect.com has great deals. And I agree, go to a Gamestop and ask them their opinion.
  16. Nappa has it. Mine is the same 4.0 automatic 1988. Part number CSS980SB. It cost me $34.13, but I lie and say I work at a shop. Regular price said, $47.23. It helped a little but not much. If the truck sits for more than a day it still takes a couple tries and a longer crank to start. Everyone seems to say on this board that it is completely normal for this engine and year, so I wouldn't worry about it.
  17. You are awesome bob! Thanks :D
  18. Guys I have a 88 4.0 automatic with a Dana 35. Tags are gone on the diff and the moron of my mechanic just changed my gear oil and didn't check the numbers on the gear. My question is, do I have 3.55 gears? Most probably right? Oh anybody know what 4 spd tranny I have?
  19. If you're looking at the front end mine is on the left side.
  20. We checked it with a laser thermometer on the block and the hoses. Every thing looks good between 180 and 210. Bt do you think I need a new gauge or sender. The sender is 2 months old.
  21. By putting a thermometer in the reservoir tank i'm between 180 and 210, just perfect I guess.
  22. Did you check the harmonic balancer.
