  1. had mine smogged about 6 wks ago -- tech at the jeep dealer in fort bragg spent 25 mins trying to figure out why the light did not come on (or course it was missing) -- he finally went to the service mgr for advise -- he could not figure it out either -- they finally gave up and because all else was good -- they passed it .

  3. Ken -- all I get is a notice of failure to connect to the server
  4. It slows down the fuel pump after startup to reduce noise and allegedly lengthen the life of the pump. If they go out completely, the pump won't run, and the truck will die right after startup. as a precaution to this (got stuck in the boonies), I carry in the tool box a short wire with a slip on connector on each end -- acts as a jumper till I can replace the bad unit -- or carry a spare resistor.

Project awaiting work? Daily driver -- 175k miles Notes: Anything that makes this comanche different from the rest. Skid plates, plows, lights, bumpers, weird factory options... Would also be a good place to note the exterior color, and the interior color and combination, IE, Bench or buckets, Vinyl or cloth, column shift or floor shift. red, interior is gray with bucket seats. floor shift, factory skid plates, HD rear diff cover, jeepspeed motor (purchased from team) not many other notable features (yet) Current owner: Well, you know.   8. if the kerosene still gives off too much odor in the heater -- try lamp oil -- works better indoors in the so called kerosene heaters

    Road Trip

    we've gone from vegas to boise up I-93 -- the fly boys at fallon naval airstation like to fly low and hot about 150 feet off the hwy and buzz cars.

  11. No. That's a complete window assembly, with a 2-pane slider. The factory window has a single slider, and all we're looking for is replacement glass. whoa there -- my rear window is a four panel -- two fixed & two sliders --- build sheet indicates that this was from factory -- GFDA Rear Sliding Window

  22. great idea -- will be moved down to orange county in july -- maybe anaheim stadium parking lot? get some of the local off road retail/wholesalers involved? t&j offroad, rampage prods, currie ect... bounce a phone call to jake at rampage prods in corona, he may have some ideas. :cheers:
