Well been adding parts here and there.... Finally came up with a way to make my double booster work... I thought about this for a while now and this is what I came up with. Image Not Found Image Not Found Image Not Found I chucked a 3" piece of 3/4 round stock in the lath and bored a 3/8 hole through the whole length... Then swapped bits to 1/2 and went in 1.5 on one side. Cut my old single boosters rod a lil less then 9/16 starting from the round part and measured the new double boosters rod and cut it where it would butt up to the old rod and be the same original length... I had to press the old rod into the sleeve to make it butt up against the 3/8's hole and threw it in the vice on the drill press, center punched me three spots on the sleeve. One going thru the old rod and two going thru the new. Drilled one hole thru the sleeve and old rod... I had it set up in a way that I could then slide the new boosters rod, still in the booster, into the other side of the sleeve and drilled the other two holes. Those holes were 3/32 for a few roll pins that got pressed in holding everything together. Finished it all up by using a belt sander to take all the edges and any exposed roll pins off. And this is what they pay me for at work!!!!! I love being the intern sometimes!!!!!!! :brows:

I agree. That's why I hope we can build up a big cushion now. First, it may result in their throwing in the towel. Second, if they decide to pull a blitzkreig at the end, it'll be that much MORE work for them, and that much less work for us. I'm just plain obstinate. I've wasted enough time on this that I refuse to allow it to be wasted. It sure does slow down my web surfing, though. I'll be happy when it ends. You!!! I sit here and say to myself,,,, "WTH have I gotten myself into!" :D Then that message board pops up now I have to share my PC! :fool: lol But I must say,, you guys rock and I'm very indebted to all that even took the time to punch in a few numbers and click "vote"......

You need to register for an intro to computers class. The one they offer at my school is pretty much teaching MS Office 2007.. Which includes, Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Outlook, ect. As for laptops, I have an Acer Inspire, I bought it from Tiger Direct, and upgraded the RAM to a GB an half using two cards, with AMD as the processor. My next choice would be a HP I like the look of them and everyone I know that has one like them. I've been more then happy with my laptop. Its been through alot, but my next PC/laptop is going to be an Apple when I can afford one..

Crazy.. I emailed the seller... Turns out its not even a mile away from my work place. I went by there today and took a look at it. Its a pretty good looking truck.. It does have a few flaws in the new paint job, the interior looks d@mn near perfet except for the drivers door panel has a few rips, DANA 44!!, The power steering pump looked like it was beat on a tad bit for some reason, it had a brand new coolant bottle, AC was COLD!!, underbody was rustless, DANA 44!!, the drivers side window has deep scratches in it from what looked like the weather channel rubbing it a few times, dome lights didnt work.. Overall a good looking truck,, He told me the reserve, its kinda high for me, but I think if someone wants a good truck it may not be all that much.

Pat,, That isnt grit in your eye,, its where you burnt a small tiny hole in your cornea from welding.. I'd say it probably happened when you were using the torch shield the first time. About the only thing I know what you can do is just take some meds that'll knock you out and try your best to sleep it off.. I've also heard of putting half of a potato on your eyes to draw the burn out,,, folklore thing I guess......
