  1. Alright here is my issue. I have no power in the Jeep. I mean I punch it and nothing happens? No stuttering, rpm changes. Has a little bit of acceleration when going from first to second gear but not enough to pull out in traffic. I have changed the MAP sensor and the leaking gas cap but no change. It is an 1990 XJ with 200k, auto with np242, 33 inch tires, 4:56 gears. I know a lot of that would effect the performance but nothing happens at wot?? Oh yeah - Eats gas and in power mode. Could it be exhaust? TPS? I am at a loss.
  2. What a view! Love to get out there with my dog.
  3. I just got in my XJ/MJ Ultimate +\- power cable kit from K Suspension Fab. It is made out of 2 gauge welding wire. It cost me $105 but it looks really good. I can’t wait to get it installed! Pics->
  4. My fiancé got me some Jeep decals to put on the XJ . They are dad and son Jeeps. Only thing that could be better is if they were the MJ/XJ front ends. I want to put a Comanche Club banner on back too, but not sure if it good idea because it’s not an MJ? Then I do have CJ’s decals on there . Thoughts - TBC
  5. Pete, when you get back. Do you think we could get decals like this made, but MJ/XJ front end? If there is enough demand.
  6. Just found this through Pete . Here are two pictures of my copilot Xander. He is an Australian Shepherd and a great family dog.
  7. I think I remember that 😆 It’s been too long Chico. Getting the band back together lol. Great to have you back. I just showed back up too.
  8. That’s it!! Thank you. Not sure if I can find the picture of my boy in the MJ but I will take one of him in the XJ tomorrow.
  9. Did Chevy V8 swaps on both of my CJ’s. LOL I have replace the floor in my CJ and Comanche but need to do the XJ floor.

    Copilots?

Is there a thread on the pets that ride with us in our vehicles??
  11. That is awesome, thank you 🤘
  12. JM0413 - first off, isn’t it great when you’re driving and around and your son says “daddy, there’s a Jeep and it has a tire on the back!” Great picture. Wow, you read through all those pages!! Thank you for doing that 👍🏻. I see that you have an 1981 CJ7. I have an 1982. I would love to see a picture of yours.
  13. A spot in garage! I wish I could get more than the fiancé car in there 😂. My fault with all my tools and Jeep stuff in there. I will pm you to get with you on getting together 👍🏻
  14. I would look for an up country xj. They have the larger sized sway bar. I put the on both jeeps.
  15. These Grabber’s seem to be popular 👍🏻 When Shelbyluvv said five tires, I took it as no rims. They tend to keep their rims when they are going up to bigger tires, but good to know bolt patterns are different 😬
  16. That is a great idea 💡. I really appreciate this idea
  17. I have the Toyo’s On my xj but they were expensive but I like them so far. Thank you
  18. Thank you, and I agree, but that is why I asked. I hope there is six options for me to pick the best option for me! I have already just learned about the General tires from my question.
  19. You do get what you pay for! Smokeyyank also brought up General tires. Thanks
  20. I definitely check them out on eBay. Thank you.
  21. Buck! Good to hear from you. I can’t believe he is four either. Fifteen - wow! Yeah I remember you driving over to the shop with your family. It has to be at least 6 years ago. How is the MJ? Let’s get together soon.
  22. I got a lot more than I needed. I think I have about 45 in material and 4 cans of the spray adhesive. I can’t find the receipts for everything but I will look and update the thread. I am not sure if you have everything that I had to do but you should be able to do it a lot cheaper than me.
  23. I have been working on replacing the headliner etc in the Cherokee. I think it came out pretty good since I’ve only done it on th MJ. I still have to do the sun visors, so I will post those when I am done. I went to Joann’s Fabric and picked up enough grey material for the job. Hint - sign up online and get 50% off! I started with the overhead console. Cleaned it up and sprayed it with 3M Super 77 adhesive. Before-> After -> Then I moved on to the overhead speaker thing. Ignore the mess, I just emptied our storage unit. Before-> after -> My old headliner was redone in black for some unknown reason and it was wrecked up front from the water leak. Old headliner-> i picked up another 2 door headliner from an 1994 base model. It did not have the cut-outs the original had so I laid the old one on top to use it as a template. Spent a lot of time getting the fabric and glue off the new headliner. I took my time and a lot of adhesive spray to get the new material on. Before-> After-> We will see how it holds up
