i have photoshop. -
jeeperjohn, what kind of ca dealer are you working with ......i have never seen a car dealer that has turned down anyone for a trade in and the least amount ive seen offered is $500. Most car dealers low ball your trade and if its old and not of any collectible value (they won't see a manche as a collector...to them its an old pickup) they send it to auction or sell it cheap to a local used car dealer. Shortly after my wife and i got married her cavalier (a 97 base automatic/AC sedan) that had a worn out engine and the AC took forever to get cold. they gave us almost 1k for it on paper. i will say this 88swamped, please sell your manche on here give us all first right of refusal. we don't want any of these to end up in the wrong hands.

that depends on what you do to it and what drive train you have in it. a stock 2.5l mj isn't all that exciting, either. obviously you havent driven my bondo buggy yet its a 2.5l. Its exciting because you never know if a part is gonna fall off lol ....but seriously i have a 98 s10 2.2 (my dd) and that is a very boring vehicle...and no guts

I deliver appliances for lowes, we can only use kobalt and task force......both are complete crap task force being the worst. the sockets fall apart and lock up. get craftsman, that way you at least have a lifetime warranty.

I wonder if he bought marty warner's 87, remember he was trying to sell it for around 200 cause he didn't want to tow it when he moved. you two are in the same area. i think. http://comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7427

thanks pat, no the early cj5 forum put it together, I don't have that kinda time. I know that the manche wasnt around until 1986.(I fixed the original post ) but i guess that the cj'ers wouldnt pay much attention to our beloved little truck. I am trying to find model designations for the commander and the patriot. and i guess even the blasphemous little turd compass. i hope Pete and eagle consider making this a sticky as this is a handy list for any jeeper.

i think in PR it would more than likely be a 2x4 ...being tropical. finding that list was the jackpot pete should make the list a sticky in the tech forum. I was surprised to see the talon has a jeep letter designation.

I'm north of pittsburgh in ellwood city (just south of new castle pa) i could really use some first hand advice
-
so what is looking like it will be a classic in the future jeep-wise? standard transmission anything seems rare. and i have yet to see one sky slider liberty!
-
so i heard that old navy is phasing out the 47-53 chevy's that sit in the middle of the stores these trucks have no engine or tranny but do have rear ends and usable rolling chassis. So far old navy is tight lipped and it has been rumored that the trucks will be crushed and scrapped. if that is true that is a damn shame
-
hi my name is Ian and I'm a jeep-a-holic since i was 8
-
if you like the hog-nosed j10s ... it seems like a nice truck but too thirsty for a dd
-
hmmm.....hummer Fjcruiser....no no wait.....humgler!
-
it seems diesel comanches and xj's are getting rare. they are impossible to find (same for deisel rangers and s10's) but wait....jeepco you dad has a stinker huh?
-
cj10 ugly bastards, but tough as nails here is your cj4 ...whats so special about it...looks like a stretched 3b

has anyone ever shot foam insulation into a rust hole then covered it with bondo for a quick fix? the reason i ask is i was talking to a rather mechanically inclined lady about how she got her 89 carolla to pass pa inspection. she sail she had a hole in the rocker so she shot in foam insulation, cut off the excess then bondo-glassed overtop. it sounded like an idea to me.
-
yeah well, due to rust mine probably won't be so easy. I'm gonna have to go up and soak the nuts in pb blaster the day before. thanks a lot you brightened my day with that news!

i saw a couple of the cj10s when i lived in boca raton fl, some one who lives in deerfield beach has an orange cj10 but it wasnt a tug...it was a long bed...i also saw a white one (may be owned by the same guy what are the odds that 2 would be in the same area) i thought it was a kit vehicle till i looked it up online and found them to be very popular in austrailia. do the doors com off the Cj10? The one FC that i saw is a work vehicle still being used by a roofing company in pompano beach. i came across it on the way home from work. I'm going back in feb to visit. if i can find the company again ill get pictures.
-
so i shouldnt have to compress the rear springs then?
