  1. I thought I did submit it.
  2. I love my 686. It is only a 6 shot. Had the barrel ported and the trigger reworked. They are awesome guns.
  3. That's a great looking MJ you have there. I am very happy to see it finally ended up in the right hands. I was always worried that I would see it in a wrecking yard around here. Yes, I did a lot of work to it, but it was pretty clean when I got it. Just made it better. For the fog lights, they will only come on with the low beams on. That is the way it works from the factory, from what I remember. Eagle Scout 526 helped me get some of the replacement parts for it. I am always thankful for his help. You should try to get the topper for it, as it was made for the Comanche. I got it from a guy that had a Comanche and got in a front end collision. I have 2 trophy's that it won at a local car show from 2012 and 2013. PM me your address if you would like to have them. It was in the stock truck category. It was great talking to you and you made my day. Looks like the original tires on it, you might want to change the tires out or have them checked, they are old and have been in the Arizona heat.
  4. Been there and done that. Got rear ended in my 1953 F100 by a small car. Was at a stop. My head broke the rear glass. Had headaches for around a year and had a hard time dealing with numbers,( addresses, phone numbers, math) I fixed the truck and put headrests in. When I found a bench seat with headrests for my Comanche, I snagged that up quick. I would suggest just put a small pillow or foam on top of the seat until you get headrests. Head injuries are not fun. The wife says I am not still right in my head, but that's another issue.🤣
  5. Wouldn't it be better to get everything fixed first before you get it painted. We had a saying in the Navy on my ship. You can wax the car, but that doesn't make it run. Just my thoughts.
  6. I have had good luck from Precision Auto Injectors. They are rebuilt units. Put them in my 1989 wagoneer, 1988 Comanche, and my 1995 F150. Did the upgraded ones. Just ordered some for my 2000 Durango. The older factory ones on my Wagoneer leaked at the body of the injector.
  7. Not the best pics. It is a Leer Comanche specific topper. Follows the cab curve perfect
  8. Yes, I told him about this awesome site. He said he was going to keep it stock and then later talked about lifting it.
  9. My 1989 Wagoneer limited I had 4.56 gears and 33 inch tires and to me that was a great combination.
  10. Well now it really is gone. I told him to sign up here and post pics so I can see it again. Last pics of it before it drove away.
  11. Still at my age, I learn something everyday, but I also forget stuff that I use to know.
  12. His wife was with him looking at it and she didn't look to thrilled that he was going to buy it, enough said.
  13. Thanks for your thoughts and help me justify keeping it. I didn't want to be a jerk for keeping it.
  14. Well the guy just called me and is backing out of the deal. He his out here for the winter. I spent like 3 hours with him looking over the truck and test driving it. He gave me a $100 deposit. My question is should I give his deposit back or keep it for my time. Not sure what to do.
