maddzz1 Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Has anybody switched there vacuum line to silicone lines? Is it a worthwhile upgrade if you are replacing them anyway? I am also going to switch my heater hoses to silicone when i replace them. Like these: http://www.paragonperformance.com/
LEAD_NOT_FOLLOW Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 I run the BRX hoses on my XJ. http://motionoffroad.com/catalog/index. ... cts_id=140
BLHTAZ Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 Pretty wild looking. That top hose doesn't fit very well though. It should be going under the AC lines and behind the compressor... shouldn't it?

offroader461 Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 both of my upper hoses run behind the A/C on my XJ and MJ
BLHTAZ Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 OK...thought that might be the case, but you don't know until you ask ;) :D .
Motion Offroad Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 Renix hoses run behind the AC. HO hoses run on top of the AC. The BRX hoses are designed off of the HO hoses, but will fit the Renix XJ/MJ without any issues.

Nope. BLHTAZ is correct. That hose seems to be for a non-AC model. Just had the blue one's hood open. Do the Renix ones run under the AC lines? I don't think I have any pics of my 88's engine bay.
