I told Erik I would post some pics of my 65 mustang because his wife wants one. They are garage pics I snapped at lunch so when I pull it out I'll post better ones. Please excuse the dust it hasn't seen the outside for a while.

Yes, I guess it is called the cue ball. It is a HURST

My 2007 Shelby has the HURST cue-ball shifter-its a throwback to what you have in your '65.

I had a few pictures of her, but just can't find them. I have the white with grey racing stripes. It is completely stock. I've only owed Jeeps my entire life, so this has been a different experience.

 

I'll post some pics in the next few days if it stops raining!

It's black with a layer of winter dust in the picture. It was totally restored 20 years ago and has been garage kept since. I bought it 2 years ago and have driven it maybe 10 times. The paint job is starting to show its age with a few weld spot popping up. The under side is still in awesome shape. I think part of the reason I don't drive it is that I live on a dirt road. :cheers:

I had a 68 Stang in my youth. At the time, I had to part with her for reasons of financial practicality. I miss her and regret the sacrifice now that I am older and more the wize. I hope she is in good hands this eve...wherever she might be...
