To tall for my tastes.. would make for a good mount for a ski rope in some snow with a board though!!!

were I the owner, I would make a roof halo and mount it to the pinch welds up front, and the front of the rollbar, and use it as a roof rack. that would make the rollbar itself acceptable...

I was messing around with an basket idea for my mj,, thought it would look kinda silly with just a basket on top, plus it'd look even sillier with something in it piled up..

I did this on paint just to see what it would kinda look like.

You know, that basket just might pass grade if done right. I could see taking one off of an Xterra and put on a pre-runner style MJ. Or maybe in front of a high rise cap. A bank of lights on the back and a spare tire laying in the basket. Yeahhhh, that's the ticket. :brows:

Maybe just 2 sets of gutter clamps. I like the slant front. I agree two or three lights built in would look good. If you look at GO Jeeps site, you can see the rack on that black xj looks really good.

Here's a pic of my 88 with the "wind anchor" on the top. I felt like the little 4-banger didn't have hard enough a life I guess...
