Ground location

Does anyone have a clear photo of the ground that’s “above the hood release latch”. Also a photo of the recommended 10” jumper to another location.

I see why you are asking.  I read your post and went out and looked, and to take the requested picture.  No evidence of any ground at that described location I can find on my 4.0L 1990

If I remember correctly, it's on drivers side behind the dash above the kick panel, I did it on my old one, I don't think I have any photos of it tho

Would help to know the year of truck you are working on. Suspect renix era since it sounds like you are doing cruisers tips

I found it, you have to remove the lower dash panel to get to it. I cleaned the ground and for a minute I thought I had fixed my weird electrical gremlin; the AC making the radio turn off and also AC only functioning intermittently, but then it’s back at it again so now I don’t know what to do.

This is worrisome and makes me wonder what the condition is of the blower speed connector looks like.

Is the system full? This makes me think its cycling because it hits a point where theres low pressure and it cycles off until the pressure comes back. Also being said, did you do the blower motor ground mod?

I would also be looking at the ignition switch connector.

If you have the need to make it visible again, might go ahead and post that allusive pic for future reference.
