Warren99
Not sure if this belongs here or in modifications and repairs but I have a red front fiberglass piece that I wanna paint white to match the rest of the truck. Its an 89 base model and I'm assuming I can find the paint code on the firewall or fenders or using the vin. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for where to find some. The rest of the trucks paint is pretty bad if ur not more than 10 feet away, so I'm not looking to do a professional paint job on this one little piece, I'd just like to make it the same or a very similar shade of white as the hood and fenders so it doesn't stick out. Thanks!

pizzaman09 Posted yesterday at 01:37 AM Share Posted yesterday at 01:37 AM I would goto a shop that sells color matched automotive paint and have them mix up a match to the old paint on your truck. Due to age it's likely a bit off compared to the original factory color. I guess the question if there is a place local to you that sells color matched paint. rokinn
I have a white 1990 and use Dupli-color Chrysler Bright White (PW6, GW6, PW7, GW7). Matches perfectly. Check the paint color on your vin tag but I'm pretty sure it is the same for your year.
fiatslug87
Your paint code should be PWB, pearl white.

If the OP is in the Atlanta area as his sig line says, a quick internet search will show plenty of shops that cater to the auto body repair industry that sell custom paint and similar supplies in the metro area.
