Coolant hose question

Is there a place i can find this piece? Or can i make something myself to replace it? I'm not looking to change over an open cooling systeme if possible.

We took a good look at this assembly when thoroughly flushing our coolant system and concluded this could all be fabricated using a T and just hose or a T and couple elbows if you wanted to get real fancy. We left our system as-is, but if we ever replaced it that's what we would do.

Thats what i tought too, but i was wondering if there is too much pressure in the hose or something cause the oem one are crimped onto the pipe

All the new tariffs certainly make it a challenge to get stuff out of the states. I remember a post about someone finding that pipe new. I will try and find it.

I found the post I remembered reading. The part number is Mopar 52003248. There was one on eBay. But it is gone now. Good luck with the search.

Thanks! There is no tarrifs on car parts (yet) lol! But the shipping is the worst part! Sometime i can pay more in shipping than the actual part on rockauto, but its still cheaper than local auto parts

Why not just make a hard line from some pieces of copper plumbing soldered together, and the use regular pieces of heater hose and clamps to join it to the existing fittings?

The ends of this contraption all connect with just hose clamps so it can't be any different here. A metal T with hose clamps should get the job done.

is your formed tube leaking or something with the rubber lines?

 

If tubing is OK,  remove,   cut the compressed ferrule acting as a hose clamp and use a clamp to reinstall the hoses.

Cut the crimps, clean up the pipes, replace the hoses.

Not leaking but its so rusted out that it will eventually crack near the bottom crimp!
