Ehhhh. You had your choice of base, X, XLS and Custom in 86.

Actually Custom was the lowest trim level followed by X and XLS was the highest.

 

Is its VIN in the Registry?

Sorry, I was ignorant on the whole XLS thing. Thought the owner was making a funny based on how much customization they put in it over the years.

 

Also I think those white Wagon wheels look quite fitting on a truck from this era. I learned the name of those while watching a Roadworthy Rescues episode.

To be fair I didn’t read your comment as being ignorant. The 86 year trims were more undefined than what we all know now.
