Pete M Posted July 1, 2025 Posted July 1, 2025 do they exist out there whole with the base? if not, what size is the tiny, tiny bulb?
87MJTIM Posted July 1, 2025 Posted July 1, 2025 any markings on it? put something next to it to give a size reference. It looks like some of the bulbs on the dash backlights from my Honda CRV.
pizzaman09 Posted July 1, 2025 Posted July 1, 2025 I think this is it. There a few styles of automotive backlight bulbs but not too many. https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/dorman-replenishment-bulb-639-041/11035251-P?c3ch=PLA&c3nid=11035251&adtype=pla&product_channel=online&store_code=&&&&&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=16396150519&gclid=Cj0KCQjwjo7DBhCrARIsACWauSkPT5IgcSNuOMJT4nyKpeYNQDBscG0OA_3Q5muVn_8vsAZy_6I-JXoaAmwqEALw_wcB
Pete M Posted July 1, 2025 Author Posted July 1, 2025 nice! but holy crap, that price! guess I'll be figuring out exactly how many I need rather than buying a 20 pack.
ghetdjc320 Posted July 1, 2025 Posted July 1, 2025 I found them on Amazon a few years back. Cheap to. They have thin bare wire type leads that wrap around the base iirc. Will try to find the part number I ordered edit: found it https://a.co/d/0ruB4Pf If you go with the LED’s use green if you want a factory like appearance. The yellow incandescent bulb went through a blue filter to create green on the oe application. With the brightness of the led, green gives the best look.
Pete M Posted July 1, 2025 Author Posted July 1, 2025 there we go! found 20 for 10 bucks. in a few days we'll see how that works out.
