Anthi4078 Posted April 5, 2025 Posted April 5, 2025 Hey just curious if anyone knows what tires our trucks came with from the factory?
fiatslug87 Posted April 5, 2025 Posted April 5, 2025 My ‘90 came with Michelin tires, still have the warranty paperwork.
89 MJ Posted April 5, 2025 Posted April 5, 2025 There were a few different sizes available. Probably partially depends on whether or not your truck had the skid plate package, and other options. I believe 225/75R15 was the largest. Probably various brands too. I’d expect Goodyear all terrains to be one of them.
fiatslug87 Posted April 5, 2025 Posted April 5, 2025 Depending on the trim/options these were the available sizes. The VIN sticker has the specific info if still readable.
Anthi4078 Posted April 5, 2025 Author Posted April 5, 2025 Ohh that reminds me. I have the tire warranty booklet from my truck too. I’ll have to check next time I’m home
DesertRat1991 Posted April 6, 2025 Posted April 6, 2025 OEM Michelin from 1991. Still holding air. Side note: I searched for 195/75R15 on Tire Rack and got ZERO results. I don't think it's made anymore.
Eagle Posted April 16, 2025 Posted April 16, 2025 Most 88s came with Goodyear Wrangler Radials. The absolute base level SporTruck came with more of a street tire, but still Goodyear.
