Factory Tires

Hey just curious if anyone knows what tires our trucks came with from the factory?

My ‘90 came with Michelin tires, still have the warranty paperwork.

There were a few different sizes available. Probably partially depends on whether or not your truck had the skid plate package, and other options. I believe 225/75R15 was the largest. 
 

Probably various brands too. I’d expect Goodyear all terrains to be one of them.

Depending on the trim/options these were the available sizes.

 

The VIN sticker has the specific info if still readable.

Ohh that reminds me. I have the tire warranty booklet from my truck too. I’ll have to check next time I’m home

OEM Michelin from 1991. Still holding air.

 

Side note: I searched for 195/75R15 on Tire Rack and got ZERO results.  I don't think it's made anymore.

Most 88s came with Goodyear Wrangler Radials. The absolute base level SporTruck came with more of a street tire, but still Goodyear.
