72cut
Hello everyone couple electrical questions. Have my truck running, idling and moving without overheating which is good. However, when I tested my blinkers I noticed that regardless of which one I tried both lenses lit up in back as if the hazards were on. Now on my dash I have following switch. What is it and does it have anything to do with blinkers? Incidentally it is always lit up regardless of position. Also the light above the bed is always on
MississippiComanche
What year and engine? Have you checked the 1988 Comanche Electrical Manual yet?

You can unplug the connection from the back of the switch of the switch to deactivate the cargo lamp if the switch no longer works. As for the blinkers, this is a pretty common occurrence and tends to be either a bad socket or bulb though it can have other causes. If you turn on your hazard lights do they all flash as they should? .
eaglescout526
Everyone and I absolutely mean everyone, with an 87-90 MJ or XJ should replace those crappy plastic sockets with the 84-86/91-96 metal sockets to avoid any further issue with their blinkers, hazards and bulbs. 72cut
It's an 88 with 4.0, haven't checked manual yet and for some inexplicable reason I didn't check the hazard button. Will tomorrow. Also, cargo light meaning the bed light on back of cab?
