I'm trying to do the CPS Modification I can't seem to get the sensor to move down the metal bracket at all any tips>?

When I did mine I heated with a heat gun lightly, and tapped it with a rubber mallet, put bolts in the bolt holes as well to be sure not to deform them 

I put the metal part in my vice without tightening it, and had the sensor rest against the vice jaws, and then I tapped the metal part gently, it’ll be tough to get it to move to start as there’s little cast plastic pins holding it, but then it will break free

Buy a high altitude CPS and keep the original one as an extra. It’s the same concept as the CPS mod.

I just threw my cps in a vice to support it and started tapping it with a hammer consecutively harder until it moved.  Didn't take too much.

 

You can see in my picture below that there are three over molded plastic pins you have to break off at the holes in the plate.    The picture is a bit disorienting, it's mounted to the bell housing at absolutely maximum advanced position.
