Options for overhead console and visors?

I was wondering what the options are for OH console and sun visors upgrades. I've seen ghetdjc320 found a OH console from an XJ with sunroof and that would seem like the easiest option but its probably a long shot finding one. I also saw what Gjeep did for Son of Stink. I'm not sure I have the skills for that without a write up to follow.  Any other approaches?

most any overhead console can work (as long as it's not too long and you're brave enough to cut into your headliner).  sounds like it's time to hit the junkyard and poke around 'til you find something you like.   I prefer a place to stash my sunglasses.

I live 3.5 hours drive from a junkyard. I ordered a console from ebay that I thought would work but it turned out that it was too wide, so it interfered with the sun visor clips.

from any junkyard?  ouch.   have you searched with google maps?  I've found some unknown out-of-the-way junkyards that way.

We have one that no longer allows people to enter and hunt around due to insurance issues. I live in a very remote area.
