2bbl spacer on 4bbl position

I've got an 86 mj with the 2.8 and I'm swapping intakes. the riser is for a 4bbl, unfortunately I couldn't find a 2bbl one, so I'm just trying to make it work.

I have a 1 inch spacer for a 4 to a 2 bbl, my concern is for fuel delivery in the intake depending on positioning of the carb

4bbl riser

Carb forward

Carb back.

 

My concern is will adequate fuel still get to either the front of back depending on where the Carb is bolted. Or am I overthinking this?

what intake are you using?ive been looking for a 4 barrel intake for my 2.8 to use my sniper kit on.

It's edelbrocks intake. I wish you good luck they have been discontinued and it's hard to find now

Less for clearance more for adapting. It's kind of one of the only ones I could find that would work.

Why don't you sell your manifold to ratrapp and use your old manifold with a Weber?

I've heard mixed reviews on the webber carb.. plus I honestly don't want to take the manifold back off at this point 😅

webers are fine. 

 

I do understand not wanting to remove that manifold though. What a piss-poor design.

The reason i want to take my weber off is I'm less than happy with it.In its defense i havent had the time to seriously adjust on it and it was definitly better than the gm pos that was on it.
