The rest of the exhaust follows the original eagle routing I tried to use an XJ tail pipe on the passenger side but you would need to move brake lines and reroute the stock fuel line. Sounds good. My exhaust is all brand new, so I should just need to replace it around the header.

Eagle_SX4
Well my seat broke again. I am going to weld it back together tomorrow. With some reinforcements.
89 MJ
I hear that’s a common issue on SX4s. Second or third time I’d heard of it in the last month or so.
Eagle_SX4
Got the seat welded back together and then plated top and bottom. It won't break in that spot again.
Eagle_SX4
Got some brand new seat belts installed. They are from https://www.seatbeltsplus.com/. They look just like the Chrysler era jeep seat belts but are brand new and are a very similar design to the originals that I pulled out. The driver's side belt had started to tear. Eagle_SX4
When I got it my car didn't have any radio system in it and I got just a parts store antenna kit and it never worked well. I finally found and installed a factory am/fm radio antenna.
Eagle_SX4
Finally got around to mounting my modified Dodge Challenger mirror (driver's side) on my car. The passenger side is next. It took some cutting to change the angle at which they mount a steel plate and 2 tubes of JB weld steel stick epoxy.
Eagle_SX4
Changed the rear diff gear oil today. Everything looks good in there. Also today I started to change all the front suspension bushings. I got the passenger upper ones successfully changed today and the rest will be tomorrow. Thought this would be a hassle but it went very smooth. A while back I bought a spring compressor built just for the AMC front springs. It replaces the shock and you just tighten it up and it compresses the spring safely so you can get the upper control arm out to change the bushings. It was a lot easier than I had thought it would be. This is the spring compressor I used. https://www.ebay.com/itm/253333083643 It worked very well and if you need to ever remove the front springs don't use any other type of compressor. Using this one you do need to remove the upper control arm to get the spring out but it is so much safer than trying to use a different style of compressor. Replaced the front springs on my dad's Eagle without this compressor and one of the outside spring compressors popped off and hit my knuckle, I have a scar from it. It could have been much worse. Eagle_SX4
Got the prototype of the Eagle turbine hubcap sticker made today. I think it turned out great. The final version will be black and chrome like the original Jeep version.

I did think about it but I think it would be to crowded having both "AMC" and "Eagle" in the circle but I will try just an AMC logo and see how it looks. Also I changed my transmission mount and resealed my transfer case over the weekend. Replaced the front input shaft seal and pulled both yokes off and added some silicone to stop the fluid from leaking past the splines.

I wonder if the leaking past the splines is a common issue with this style of transfer case. I had the same issue with the rear of my 128 and went through a few seals in the rear before giving up and living with the leak. I didn't add any silicone to the splines though the second time. I did not add silicone directly to the splines, I removed the gasket slid the yoke on and then added silicone to where gasket sits. Reinstalled the gasket and then retorqued the yoke nut. Leak free so far.
Eagle_SX4
AMC logo cap. I need to add some bondo to the center to smooth them out but I think this might be the final design.
