Expand Yeah, I’ve thought about this a bit more. I think Jeep planned to offer larger tanks for SWB but then decided against the option for some reason. If you look at the drivers side frame you can see a third square hole where tank strap would go for a larger tank. The main issue besides clearance is the location of the fuel filler neck. I may get a new LWB tank and re-weld the neck location and give it a go…. You’d also need to make a small bracket to catch the j-bolt for the third tank strap.
