And for a short time I drove a 1999 Ford Explorer 4.0 as well as a 1995 Mazda MX-5 5sp. I admire both vehicles greatly, and I maintain that an MX-5 is the only 4 banger I want. I seriously enjoyed every minute of driving that thing, it handles so freaking well!
