Might pivot from the Mustang 17s to Challenger 18s with a basically new set of Michelins for $400.

Quick mock up of what it would look like.

Picked up a set of LED headlights from @NHMJXJthat were aged a bit and a bit faded, so I cleaned them up with a 3M restore kit. They really turned out well! In my opinion, they're the best looking LED headlights, without looking like a bug.

They cleaned up so well, they pointed to the grille and bezels being faded, so I cleaned and painted them. The Jeep looks so much better now! Now I need to paint the bumper or put over the stock bumper from my MJ.

Picking up the 18s tonight.

I love having spare parts. Replaced the driver's door ajar switch and blower motor resistor with spares.

Bumpers came off for painting. Found a few leaks, looks like power steering pressure hose and transmission cooler hoses are in the future. I'm enjoying this thing.

$250 bucks?!?  I thought I was doing good with my 01 XJ at $800!

I love that color combo!  It is my second favorite!  My very first Jeep was a Moss Green 2 door 2wd 96 XJ with the tan interior.  Good memories!  Unfortunately it died in an accident when the other guy going down the road decided to see what my side of the yellow line was like.

Next one was my favorite color combo.  Another 96 in Flame Red with an Agate Gray Interior.  Had that thing over 10 years!  Still kick myself dirt selling it!

Picked up a few goodies at Columbia Pull a Part Saturday.

I got a center console lid (grey, but whatever), full instrument cluster, ZJ shift knob for the XJ.

Thanks to @DzimmI have a passenger armrest to install as well.

Best looking $250 XJ I’ve seen! Nice score good save. I found myself with a $200 XJ one time. Traded it to the junkyard man to save an MJ from the junkyard. No regrets

Well, life happens and with three young kids, I didn't have time to focus on multiple project cars. Sold the XJ on Labor Day to a 15yo that was thrilled to have his first vehicle

Yup, have the scar on my lower lip to prove it.  Didn't exactly walk away but I lived to tell the tale and went home from the hospital later that night with just a broken leg and a bunch of stitches.
