Comanchesummermoon
FullSizeRender.MOV So I went to boost my truck few days ago and I accidentally put the booster cables on backwards and then got in and turned it over, it made a horrible zing noise from the starter and my gauges went all crazy, I got out and changed the cables to normal and the gauges went back to normal but now it just turns over and sometimes starts and idles fine and even Revs fine but dies after 5 seconds, my relays also have a clicking to them after I try start it. All my fuses look fine and I even have Ksuspensions 250A fuse between the fuse block and the alternator and it blew so maybe that saved something. I already put in a different fuse block and didn’t change anything. I attached a video of the truck running fine but right after he video stops the truck dies instantly IMG_7300.MOV IMG_7300.MOV
Big_Mark
Ouch! Did you take a look at the fusable links? Hopefully they did their thing and broke.

Like the fuses under the dash? They are fine. There was one that blown but I replaced it and still nothing. Or are fusable links different? Eagle
Starts but dies? Bypass the fuel pump ballast resistor and get back to us.

I know where it is but not sure how to bypass? on the drivers side of the engine bay on the fender wall is a white ceramic resistor maybe 3" long with 2 wires sticking out of it. just put the wires directly together and bypass the resistor. The Green wires in this picture are fusible links. They burn out when overloaded by design, kind of like a fuse, only they are wires. When handling them, if they feel "floppy" / not stiff like a wire should be, then they are likely burnt out and will need to be replaced. You could temporarily replace them with a similarly gauged wire for testing purposes. Just don't leave the temporary replacement in for the long term otherwise components upstream will burn out instead of the fusible link.
Eagle
Any progress on checking the fusible links?

Yes I replaced all of the fusible links and it still does the same thing as before. I’m going to check the fuel pump harness for voltage
