Argent grille respray

Anyone have a brand, part number, etc for an Argent color spray paint for the plastic front grille, marker, and running light trim? Been looking online cuz I thought duplicolor made one but can’t find it.

Yes you are correct in saying duplicolor does make it. I bought mine at O’Riley’s, they had a dark And a light Silver . It was marked for Chrysler colors.

I painted my grille, headlight doors and moulding with the leftover paint and clear I used to do my wheels, which was Dupli Color wheel paint in Graphite, two coats+clear IIRC. I did paint over the previous color without primer which might come into play since the parts were black before. The overall match is close enough for my taste for the time being.

I am not totally content with satin black on my grill and other front trim.  I am kicking around looking for an '88+ grille and maybe paint it to match body color, but the graphite color is tempting!

My entire truck was painted Rust-Oleum black.  Grill is unfinished factory black plastic.  The metal strip above the grill is a phenomenal product called bumper and Trim paint by Rust-Oleum, comes in a spray can with a picture of a bright yellow XJ on it.  It's a super fine paint that doesn't fill in any texture.

So here’s the dark argent from Duplicolor. Not sure how I feel about it… I might respray with the lighter argent. Looks like a little too much blue in there. At least that’s what it looks like depending on how the light hits it

That's a pretty color, but so close to black.

Yeah it’s not too bad. It looks different depending on how the light hits it. I’m going to re spray again this weekend with the lighter Argent shade if I can find it.
