Pete M Posted April 14, 2022 Share Posted April 14, 2022 if you can't find a full swap video, you can use a 4wd front axle replacement video plus a 4wd transmission replacement video. the 2wd comes apart is pretty much the same way as a 4wd. Well you need all the parts mainly, so find a 4x4 Cherokee that's decent or body junked out or something, then take everything out side by side and then install all the 4x4 stuff in your rig. I’m looking to make my truck a 4x4. My truck was 4x4 swapped. Previous owner had the front axle mounted only. I replaced the ba10 2wd transmission with an AX15/231 combo from a 97 Cherokee. Not sure what all went into mounting the front axle but I believe it was all bolt on. Just find you a Cherokee donor and swap what you need over.
