EagleEar
Hello, I just sending some photos from restoration of 2,5 liter blue one , in black some body works are performed at the moment i will back soon with some update here. Black originally was white, so I would like to remove this raptor like layer and put real white raptor on it. Blue will stay blue , beside originally was black I will back soon with more photos. BTW, there is a lot of connectors under the dash which were not connected and seems there is no place where i can connect them. Does MJ electrical installation is the same no matter of version ? Can somebody could help with wiring or electrical manual ?

EagleEar
Hi Guys, Car is still during painting so I can't show you results yet, but i have problem with rear differential. It seems that driver side axle is little bent , wheel is directed into inside. I planned to change it using xj one but it seems that leaf spring in Mj is mounted down and Xj Up. No Comanche parts are available here , please advise how to solve it in best way.
JYau
You can cut the spring perches off and move them to the bottom, or buy a spring perch set. I'm sure you could find a new generic set that could work. You should also be able to re-use the spring plates as well.
EagleEar
Thanks for hint , it's seems workable. I will remove wheels check what is really going , one local offroad shop are making service of such repair i will also go with axle there I check what is possible. I also heard that there are some differences with mounts axle - wheel between XJ and MJ.
Pete M
yup, perch moving is very common. just remember that XJ perches and MJ perches are different widths apart too. don't just weld new ones directly under the XJ ones. MJs are 42" center to center.
