I’ve owned 5 jeeps now and my second was a 1989 Comanche with the 2.5 liter 4 cylinder, 5 speed, and 4wd. I wasn’t too interested in doing any work on it at the time, which it needed lots of. I was 17 then and sold it in search of something more reliable. I’ve got a 2000 XJ now as my daily and I’m getting into doing my own maintenance and repairs. I miss my Comanche more than hell and I found a couple around my area willing to sell them and it’s come down to two options. I’ll be going off of my Haynes repair manual and YouTube videos to fix them up and hopefully some help here. I’ll update this thread when I buy one of the trucks and go from there.
Thanks.
The red Comanche pictured is my 89 that I sold.
