I've started the tow rig project.  I picked up a well used 97 F250 powerstroke to use as a tow rig.  I got it for dirt cheap.  It has solid bones but it needs basically everything.

 

I am essentially rescuing this from a likely trip to the junkyard.  So, especially given that we're in a pandemic, this clip seemed appropriate.

 

 

I managed to get it running but I have a lot of work to do on it.  I'm going to swap in a front Dana 60 in place of the junk TTB 50 that's in there.  I have found a cheap donor for the front fender, hood, and bumper, as well as maybe some other bits I may need.  I do have to recondition the interior and will likely have more engine and transmission work.  But I should have it running and driving relatively quickly.
