do we have a CC location where all the various paint codes and their meanings exist together in one handy chart?

@Pete M, I'm compiling the list since I'm adding that information to the next version of the registry list. If you're trying to cross reference what's in the build sheets with online paint matching sites, they are different. The build sheet codes are P (primary) and Q (secondary) with two other characters, the online sites do not necessarily match up.

a member asked if I knew the paint codes for the 86 era tan and black so he can 2-tone paint his truck those official AMC colors.  it's not the trucks original colors so he has no code to look up.  so it occurred to me that we should probably have a single location that lists all the paint codes, years, and what colors they are.

I found a website that has both AMC and Jeep codes prior to Chrysler’s acquisition. Prior to the 89 model year, all paint codes should be denoted with a 2 digit code. Like Colorado Red is BE and Sebring red is 3B.

That information will be a tab in the registry list. As far as paint for 86:
