schardein Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 I got a notification on a topic in the "wanted" section, that someone had quoted me. Click to go there, get this. Does this mean the topic was deleted?
schardein Posted February 12, 2021 Author Posted February 12, 2021 It was a wanted ad for a 120mph speedometer. I don't see it now.
eaglescout526 Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 From what I remember before not finding it again was that he hid it. I thought it was the 120 one.

eaglescout526 Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 Lol yeah you could hide this one right now and no one would know.
schardein Posted February 12, 2021 Author Posted February 12, 2021 Thanks gents. I contacted the "quoter" by msg, and he replied that he sold a part to the poster, so topic was probably deleted.
Pete M Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 It's been a bit of a rough week for my poor brain, but I vaguely remember reading that he found one and so I would have hid it. it shouldn't be deleted, but I cannot find it. so either I accidentally clicked the wrong tab, or something else has occurred. but since you were able to make contact, I guess all's well that ends well.
schardein Posted February 12, 2021 Author Posted February 12, 2021 Yeah all good, thanks guys. I saw I had been quoted and didn't want to appear rude by not reading/replying.
ghetdjc320 Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 I also really like this idea. It’s hard to dig through parts and find what your looking for especially when the titles aren’t descriptive. @Pete M What about auto-archiving the threads after a certain period of time with no activity? That way either the seller needs to “bump” the thread to keep it alive or eventually it just goes away and only relevant posts remain
Pete M Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 I am unaware of how to make that happen in an automated way. honestly if it's past the first 2 pages, I don't pay attention to it at all.
