That and less miles on the old one That's a non-issue. Just remove the electronic speedo sender from the '95 transfer case. You'll remove the sender from your transfer case before youu pull the tranny and transfer case. Install the 5-speed, then put the speedo cable right into the same place on the "new" transfer case. Just be sure to make note of the orientation of the sender in your truck before you remove it, and be sure to install it with the same orientation.
Joshua_A Posted March 1, 2021 Author Posted March 1, 2021 Huh didn't think it'd be that easy to just change out the senders but I'll give it a shot tommorow.
eaglescout526 Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 I like the pic of the plate that says 231 AMC. Don’t see that plate much.
Joshua_A Posted March 1, 2021 Author Posted March 1, 2021 thats another reason i'm trying to keep that one as well as keeping a mostly period correct truck. For kicks and giggles.
BeatCJ Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 I can't read the top plate. Does it say 231 C? As in Chevrolet?
Joshua_A Posted March 1, 2021 Author Posted March 1, 2021 i believe it is 231 C as in a 231 made by Chrysler since it is a 94
