4.0L I6 Power Tech Engine/ 5-Speed Manual/ Stock Front axle? / Stock Rear axle?/ Rear Wheel Drive

Build date: 10/90

Current Location: United States, Missouri, St. Louis area

Status: Daily driver. 245k miles. Purchased from used car lot in Junction City Kansas and driven 5 hours home to St. Louis area. Traded straight across for used Dodge Charger with hail damage. Undergoing amateur home “restoration”. See Moparbrowns Manche for build updates.

Notes: Seemed pretty much stock when purchased except floors had been patched and bench seat swapped out to buckets. No rear bumper when purchased, think it was that way from stock as it had the liscense plate light. Had square front off-road style lights on bumper not sure if stock. Short bed.
Black exterior paint, blue dash, light grey interior panels, black vinyl floor, 5-speed, bed mat (factory?). I have done basic repairs to keep it running and installed new bumpers front and rear plus KC spread lights.

Current owner: Dillon Brown

Thanks jdog ! That is pretty cool that it was military ordered. It makes sense since I got it from Junction City Kansas where Fort Riley is located (my brother was actually stationed there when I picked it up). Is that why it doesn’t specify “pioneer” or “eliminator”, etc?

Fun fact, I am exactly 5 days older than my truck.

that might be a reused code too.  even if it is, it'll still have a trim level of some kind. :L:  I went through and edited out the common wrong ones for ya.

@moparbrown you are welcome, happy belated birthday to you and your truck. the build sheet won't tell me the trim level, the body code tells us its a low line short bed so base, or sportruck I believe @fiatslug87 might be able to assist on trim level

This is an Eliminator, the 6 in position six of the VIN designates that.

@jdog From '90 on the body code for Eliminators contained an "L", before that it was an "S".
