1988 Jeep Comanche Pioneer

 

SWB/6 foot bed

 

4.0, 5 speed, 2WD

 

Build date: unknown (door sticker didn't survive)

 

Current Location: West Michigan

 

Status: Runs and drives, but not currently registered. It's a work in progress, which you can follow in my build thread.

 

Notes: Red exterior, grey interior. Bench seat.

it's really only a partial sheet.  the older years had a lot of info lost before getting into the Chrysler computers. :(  but you can piece together more of it by comparing the parts that are on the truck (and assumed to be original) to the codes found on 1990 MJs that have the same features. :L:   there's even a chance of finding the literal sheet of paper with the build codes on it!  it could be behind a door card, or the rear wall panel, or in the suspension under a seat, or even shoved up under the dash.  there's no real rhyme or reason that we've found for where it might be or even if all trucks had it. :dunno:
