Torq_Shep Posted October 28, 2020 Author Posted October 28, 2020 This one is staying relatively stock =P With that being said I can fix the existing hinge its just going to have to be drilled out and sleeved and holes filled with weld as the PO of the PO of the PO or whoever kinda knackered it.

eaglescout526 Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 There are later style hinges available, they come as a kit from Chrysler. I have a kit, I would love to install it but have no experience with trying such yet but Chrysler recommends them in place of the older style.

They were cheap enough that if they don't I am not out much. If they do work I will make a write-up or something. Still interested in an OE front one for 84-96 if anyone has one kicking around.

I have the kit actually sitting in my parts. I asked a while back if anyone had tried to install the newer style hinges and didnt get anywhere.
