Southpaw
Three on each side two on the tailgate I'm assuming this is an aftermarket add-on does anyone know if this is a factory thing
ghetdjc320
Never seen those as a factory option but I’m not the guru when it comes to those. Tagging @HOrnbrod & @Pete M who would probably know. Looks aftermarket to me. I would be ticked that they made hold in the body to install those.

They are made of aluminum, and I would bet are just installed with big (currently rusty) sheet metal screws. if you want the most durable cosmetic result, clean the alumnium up with a wire wheel and scotch-bride pads, and paint them with an epoxy paint. Use stainless steel fasteners to re- attach, and put a thin piece of plastic between the aluminum and the painted surface, to prevent abrasion of the paint once reinstalled. PCO6
I have the same cleats on my MJ. I bought it from a guy that was big into boats and always thought that that is where he got them from. I have a bungie cargo net and they do come in handy when I use it. I took them off when I had the bed Linexed and quickly put them back on. I've kind of gotten used to the look. Be careful though; it's easy to catch your shirt on them. Sorry that I don't have a close up pic of them ...
