Warren99 Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 I hope this is the right thread for a question like this, but how much is a working condition Peugeot BA/10 trans worth? Since I replaced mine with an AX15 I don't need it anymore, and am trying to sell it.
Pete M Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 the key here is luck. it's not really desirable in any way but possibly to someone down on the luck with a bad 2wd peugeot who can't find or afford an AX-15 swap. also they need to be close since no one is going to pay shipping for it. but there's no cost in advertising it for sale maybe you'll get lucky! I made little sculptures out of the gears of mine (but mine grenaded so it had less value than yours)
Pete M Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 although if the trans mount is in good shape, you should be able to sell that for something.
Minuit Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 The answer here really is "whatever you can get someone to pay for it" Kinda like D35s in that way. Not completely useless, but there are better options out there that aren't hard to find, and if someone is replacing a broken one, they probably won't replace it with another of the same thing.
Warren99 Posted August 21, 2020 Author Posted August 21, 2020 Ok, I'll just list it at $50 and say something like price not firm.
Warren99 Posted August 21, 2020 Author Posted August 21, 2020 Also, not related, but I should be getting a AX15 trans plate/mount on Saturday, and last Tuesday I picked up a front axle, some grille stuff, the front part for a 4.5in lift, and a rear axle all for $200. I'm aware that I can't use the rear axle, but I figured it might have lower gears in it and if not, I could probably sell it for $30, which is how much it was lol.
Warren99 Posted August 21, 2020 Author Posted August 21, 2020 ^Forgot to mention that included a 3 spoke steering wheel and I put it on earlier, much bigger fan of it than the other one mine came with.
