Back of cab access

Is it possible to unbolt the bed (short bed) and slide it a few inches to access the rear of the cab without disconnecting anything else (fuel tank, fuel lines, brake lines, etc.)?

aren't the ebrake cables attached to the bed?  I don't think those are going to stretch a whole lot.

I should have said a couple, two or three more inches, just enough to get an arm between the cab and bed.

You may get lucky if you loosen the gas tank straps.  thinking the tank has to be dropped though

I really doubt it , the exhaust, gas tank , front emergency brake cable are all gonna put up resistance. Plus you'll have the rear bumper in the way

Going from memory as to what's under the bed and attached to it, I'm going to say no.
