Last night I was laying on the couch planning my next steps on the Comanche when it occurred to me....  If I have a double pumper with dual feed on a square bore over a solid 30/30 in a 302 with camel backs and a 3 finger in front of a Rock Crusher in a '65 Deuce with duelys, slappers and a posi on wide 60's......  What do I have??

Kinda miss the old days......

Sounds like a Chevy engine with a mechanical secondary Holley, along with a 4 speed manual in a Buick Electra 225.  Could be a fun car.

Very close.....Cammed up (Duntov 30/30 solid cam) Chevy 302 with small chamber big valve heads, a Big Holley, Hi pref clutch Muncie 4spd in a 1965 Chevy II with dual exhaust and traction bars and wide tires...

Miss all the cool nic-names for crap & the language that used to be used,

Whenever someone says Deuce, I think about the "Deuce and a quarter".  I always forget about the pre-Nova Nova.

Agreed! And you just described my dream car as a 12 year old kid.

a buddy of mine had a '65 with a 350 we used to drag race back in the 80's .... as you know it was an early unibody car... if we didnt keep the rear windows down a little bit, they would break at launch when the body twisted...... we had just enough power (and money) for that one wheeled wheely!!
