We have to finance for 60MO's TELL ME WHY I SHOULD BITE THE BULLET AND GET THE RUBICON?? TELL ME WHY THE X with LOCKER IS A GREAT ALTERNATIVE?? TELL ME THAT I'M CRAZY IF I don't JUMP IN AND DO THIS RIGHT NOW BECAUSE OF WHAT THEY ARE OFFERING FOR THE TRADE. WE ONLY LOST $500 in 2.5 YEARS and 30,000 MILES on the 05 SE. OH and they know that it is an SE so we are not pulling any wool over anyones eyes?
Stumpy
when i was looking at getting my TJ i looked at the rubi's and decided not to pay the extra $$ for one and i've never regretted it. I have made some rubi owners look silly because by walking through places they got stuck and i don't have lockers just the trash lock in the D44 rear. However one thing i like about the new rubi's is the D44's are supposed to be stronger and the front is a HP44. I'm still not sure the front HP44 is worth the extra $4k. one thing about the new JK's that keep me from considering getting one is i don't like the engine, ya its got more power but its at a higher RPM than the 4.0L and most of the time i get though places below the 3k RPM range. BLHTAZ
If you are going to wheel it...definitrly go Rubi. If you are not going to wheel it...go X. The axles, lockers & gears are very well worth the extra investment if you will use them  .
Pete M
I'd get the Rubi in a heartbeat, whether it's destined to be a DD or wheeler.

pingpong
I beleive the Rubi will have a better resale value if taken care of. The small price difference is worth the few upgrades. ISn't it amazing how expensive these things are
