I was going thru my parents old barn trying to get the original sliding barn doors out of it and cam across a long skinny box with something inside. I opened it up and started pulling pieces out and my mom told me what it was.

 

I took some of the good, usable pieces out of it to repurpose them.

 

Can anybody guess, from the pieces I have, what this was or what it was used for? I have about ¼ of the pieces...

Is that a quilting rack of some kind?  I swear I've seen something like that in my past family history....I think.
