I'm a hat guy.  Collector of vintage hats, primarily fedoras.  I'd love one of these, despite the Western style that I am not so fond of.  I've only seen maybe 2-3 pop up for sale and they've not been my size.  I'd be interested to find out if they made only one size or something.

I've seen more than one size.    unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) mine doesn't fit my huge melon.

Yours doesn't happen to be a 7-3/8 and you'd like to sell it, Pete?

I called my pop to check (I'm stuck 700 miles away) and it is indeed a 7 3/8!  but I'd only trade it for another.  the replacement can be of any size, but has to be complete.

yup.  the one in the ebay ad is incomplete.

Wow man!  I'm going to be on the lookout for one to trade you for that 7-3/8!   If you ever change your mind about selling it, then I'm your man, Pete.

I recommend being proactive with your search as they don't pop up very often.  a search in the CC archives should bring up other owners you can try to bribe.
