eaglescout526 Posted March 25, 2020 Share Posted March 25, 2020 Hey guys, I bought this skid plate that fits our trucks from a dealer as NOS, but the catalogue doesn't show where it goes and I am curious if any of you guys know where it goes. I don't have a pic of it currently but here is the catalogue pic: Let me know if you guys might have an idea. I feel it might be for the front drive shaft. That's the only thing that has that shape I can think of. It is this. I have experience on this on my MJ and my fathers YJ. It shields the vacuum disconnect, however it is kinda useless. If you were to hit a rock with it (granted, its on the backside of the axle, so if you hit it with a rock you wouldn't be going fast), you would probably fold it over and still wreck your vacuum disconnect.
