Jtslick89
My 1990 eliminator is completely missing a headliner. Do you have to look in junkyards/buy used? Are there any new ones available? Any company that sells them? Thanks!

Jtslick89
Thanks guys! I will order from there when I get some more denaro. Is there any piece that goes between the bare metal and the headliner? Or does it just get glued in?
Jeep Driver
There are two metal clips, one on each side with hold it in place until you get the visors on and the rest of the interior panels. BTW- My ebay link the the group buy deal.......same supplier.
Jtslick89
Yeah just saw it was the same company, thanks, all the interior pieces came on the truck, was just missing the headliner and whatever fits between the visors like you said
Minuit
The holes between the visors are for the front bracket for the overhead console. Not ever available on MJs, but very handy for those of us with plans to add it to the MJ. I strongly recommend the SMS replacement headliner. I have one and will probably be buying two more in the near future.
Jtslick89
Thank you! Yeah I was confused because I didn't think there was an overhead console available. Interesting that they included an area to add in the future but didn't offer it stock.
High2by
While the headliner is out, now is a good time to add some sound deadener to the roof.
fiatslug87
There is also some Velcro that holds the back side over the rear window.
